Orthodontic Case Review – The Crown Dental ClinicThis case involved a 16-year-old patient, an age at which the jawbones are still actively growing. Intraoral examination revealed multiple crowded teeth, including a lower canine (indicated by an arrow) that was crowded and positioned lingually. This condition caused the lower dental arch to shift toward the left side.Based on the clinical examination and radiographic findings, the dentist planned orthodontic treatment to align the teeth, guide the crowded lower left canine back into an appropriate position, and correct the lower arch deviation, returning it to the normal rightward position.After completion of orthodontic treatment, the patient achieved good occlusion. The lower left canine was successfully repositioned into the correct occlusal plane. At present, the patient has had the appliances removed, is wearing retainers, and returns for routine follow-up every six months. The occlusion remains stable with consistently good results.
