Case Review – Ceramic Crowns & Veneers – The Crown Dental Clinic, KoratThe patient wanted to improve the appearance of discolored front teeth and existing crowns, aiming for a brighter, whiter smile. The dentist advised that achieving a uniform shade would ideally require treating at least six front teeth, but the patient chose to start with three teeth first and return later for additional work.Before starting, dental X-rays were taken to assess the condition of previously treated root canals and restorations. The findings were normal: no pain on percussion, no signs of infection, and existing metal posts were stable.During treatment, the old crowns were removed. Although the metal posts were stable, there was insufficient remaining tooth structure to replace the posts, and the patient opted to leave them in place due to their age. Adjacent teeth were prepared for ceramic veneers.The new crowns and veneers were placed precisely according to the planned design. The patient received instructions on proper oral hygiene and was advised to return for completion of additional teeth to achieve optimal aesthetic results.
