Case Review – Correction of Two Anterior Crowns and Smile Enhancement with 10 Ceramic Veneers The Crown Dental Clinic, KoratThe patient sought treatment to replace two anterior crowns that had been placed over 10 years ago following root canal therapy, and to correct the appearance of small front teeth by improving their shape and proportions. To achieve a more natural, harmonious smile with long-term durability, the dentist recommended removing the existing crowns and restoring the remaining teeth with ceramic veneers. As part of the treatment plan, periodontal surgery was advised to increase the clinical crown length of the anterior teeth prior to restoration. The procedure included crown lengthening surgery, removal of the old crowns, tooth preparation for veneers, and placement of temporary restorations at the new gum level. The patient wore the temporary crowns for approximately 2–3 weeks to allow proper gum healing before returning for final crown and veneer placement. After completing the treatment with 2 anterior crowns and 8 ceramic veneers, extending to the premolars on both sides, the smile achieved improved balance and fullness, especially when viewed from the side. The color matching between the crowns and veneers was highly consistent, and the newly contoured gum line provided an ideal foundation for natural tooth proportions. The final result delivered enhanced aesthetics, symmetry, and long-lasting satisfaction.
