อย่าปล่อยให้ปลายฟันหน้ากัดสบแบบนี้ ระวังฟันหน้าสึกและสั้นลง(รีวิวเคสจัดฟัน)

รีวิวเคสจัดฟันของคลินิกทันตกรรมเอดะคราวน์ โคราช ลักษณะการสบฟันที่ท่านเห็นในภาพ เป็นความผิดปกติเกิดจากฟันที่ ปลายฟันหน้าบนและล่างสบกันพอดี ภาษาคุณหมอจะเรียกมันว่า Edge to Edge และมีฟันหน้าสบไขว้กัน 2 ตำแหน่ง 

ปัญหาคือ ถ้าปล่อยให้เป็นไปแบบนี้เรื่อยๆ ปลายฟันหน้าจะสึก ปลายฟันบิ่น เอียง ไม่เท่ากัน  ในบางรายปล่อยปัญหาไปจนในวัยผู้ใหญ่ จะพบฟันหน้าสึกและสั้นลง ส่งผลต่อความสวยงาม ควรได้รับการแก้ไขด้วยการจัดฟันตั้งแต่ช่วงอายุที่ยังไม่มาก

ภายหลังการจัดฟันเสร็จ คนไข้มีตำแหน่งของฟันและการสบฟัน ที่เป็นปกติ ณ ปัจจุบันคนไข้รายนี้ ถอดเครื่องมือและใส่รีเทนเนอร์ กลับมาตรวจเช็คสภาพฟันตามระยะเป็นปกติ ทุก 6 เดือน

In some patients, if the problem persists into adulthood, significant shortening and wear of the anterior teeth may occur, negatively affecting dental esthetics. Therefore, correction through orthodontic treatment is recommended at a younger age.After completion of orthodontic treatment, the patient achieved normal tooth alignment and a proper bite relationship. At present, the patient has completed appliance removal, is wearing retainers, and returns for routine dental examinations every six months as part of regular follow-up care.
