เมื่อคนไข้คล้อง ยางอิลาสติกตามที่หมอแนะนำ !! (รีวิวเคสจัดฟัน แก้ปลายฟันบนล่างสบกระแทก)

คนไข้ต้องการแก้ไขเฉพาะฟันล่างที่มีช่อง และปลายฟันหน้าสบกระแทก จนปลายฟันสึกและบิ่น คุณหมอวางแผนจัดฟัน แก้ไขการสบฟันหน้าให้ได้ตำแหน่งที่ปกติ เมื่อจัดฟันเสร็จสิ้น แนะนำให้ทำการบูรณะฟันหน้าบนที่บิ่นด้วยวัสดุอุดคอมพอสิต หรือทำวีเนียร์แบบต่างๆต่อไป
การแก้ไขลักษณะการสบฟันในระหว่างการจัดฟัน คุณหมอแนะนำให้คนไข้คล้องยางอิลาสติกร่วมกับการดึงฟันด้วย C-Chain เพื่อให้ได้ผลการรักษาที่ดี โดยการคล้องยางชนิดนี้ คนไข้จะต้องเปลี่ยนยางด้วยตนเองที่บ้าน ในระยะเวลาตลอด 1 เดือน ทุกวัน โดยมีคำแนะนำดังนี้
- ทางคลินิกจะมียางอิลาสติกให้คนไข้กลับไป 2 ถุง ถุงละ 30 เส้น (คุณไข้ต้องเปลี่ยนใช้งาน 2 ด้าน ซ้ายและขวา ทุกวัน)
- ให้คนไข้เปลี่ยนยางด้วยตนเอง ในช่วงหลังแปรงฟันตอนเช้า คล้องในตำแหน่งที่คุณหมอกำหนด ให้ได้ระยะเวลาประมาณ 9-10 ชั่วโมง
- ให้ใส่พร้อมการรับประทานอาหาร เนื่องจากขณะรับประทานอาหารจะเกิดแรงที่ใช้เคลื่อนฟัน หรือใช้การขยับขากรรไกรร่วมในระหว่างวัน
ซึ่งตามปกติ คุณหมอจะให้คนไข้ใช้งานยางชนิดนี้ ประมาณ 2-3 เดือน เพื่อช่วยจัดระเบียบมุมแกนของฟันให้เหมาะสม
ส่วนขั้นตอนในการบูรณะหลังเสร็จการรักษา
- เมื่อเสร็จสิ้นการรักษา คุณหมอแนะนำถอดเครื่องมือจัดฟัน พร้อมการอุดแต่งปลายฟันที่สึก หรือบิ่น ให้เรียบร้อย
- จากนั้น จึงจะพิจารณาพิมเครื่องมือคงสภาพฟัน และนัดกลับมาใส่เครื่องมือคงสภาพฟันต่อไป
Case Review – Orthodontic and Anterior Tooth Restoration – The Crown Dental Clinic, KoratThe patient presented with spacing in the lower teeth and incisal wear on the upper and lower front teeth due to anterior interference, causing chipping and enamel loss. The treatment plan focused on correcting the bite of the anterior teeth through orthodontic treatment. After aligning the teeth, the worn or chipped upper front teeth were recommended to be restored using composite resin or veneers for aesthetic and functional improvement.During the orthodontic phase, elastics combined with C-chain mechanics were used to adjust the occlusal relationship and achieve proper anterior guidance. The patient was instructed to replace the elastics daily at home for approximately 9–10 hours per day over a 1-month period, with instructions as follows:
- Two packs of elastics were provided (30 elastics per pack), covering both left and right sides.
- Elastics were to be placed after brushing in the morning and worn during meals to facilitate proper tooth movement.
- Typically, elastic wear is continued for 2–3 months to achieve optimal alignment of tooth angulation.
After completing orthodontic treatment:
- The braces were removed, and the worn or chipped incisal edges were restored.
- Impressions were taken for a retention appliance, which the patient used to maintain tooth positions and ensure long-term stability.
This combined approach restored proper occlusion, improved aesthetics, and prepared the anterior teeth for durable, functional restoration.
