เมื่อฟันฉันหายไปหมดทั้งปาก ?

แต่เมื่อวันหนึ่ง หากเราสูญเสียฟันไปทั้งปาก ปัญหาต่างๆก็จะตามมา โดยเฉพาะการถอนฟัน จะส่งผลให้กระดูกที่เคยอูม มีมิติ และคอย Support หรือพยุงกล้ามเนื้อใบหน้าต่างๆให้ดูมีมิติ ก็จะแบนลง หรือยุบลง ริมฝีปากที่เคยอวบอิ่ม กลับกลายเป็นบางแบน และหลุบเข้าไปด้านในจนแทบมองไม่เห็น การออกเสียงผิดแผลกไปจากเดิม ใบหน้าที่เคยยาว มีความสูงจากการที่มีฟันรักษาสภาพความสูงของใบหน้าไว้ กลับมีใบหน้าที่สั้นลง ข้อต่อขากรรไกร และระบบกล้ามเนื้อทำงานผิดปกติไป ลิ้นใหญ่มากขึ้นด้วย

แน่นอนครับว่า ปัญหาที่กล่าวไปทั้งหมด เป็นเพียงแค่ส่วนนึง ซึ่งควรได้รับการแก้ไขด้วยการทดแทนฟันที่ถอนไป ด้วยการใส่ฟันปลอม หนึ่งในฟันปลอมที่ได้รับความนิยม ค่าใช้จ่ายไม่สูง ก็คือฟันปลอมถอดได้แบบใส่ทั้งปาก

ขั้นตอนในการทำฟันปลอมแบบใส่ทั้งปาก ใช้เวลาประมาณ 3-4 สัปดาห์ ทำตามขั้นตอนที่เหมาะสม ก็จะได้รับชิ้นงานที่ถูกต้องมากขึ้น นอกจากนี้การติดตามอาการหลังการใส่ฟัน ก็เป็นขั้นตอนที่สำคัญ เนื่องจากการบูรณะแบบทั้งปาก สัมพันธ์กับการสบฟันที่ไม่มีผลต่อระบบข้อต่อขากรรไกร ดังนั้นการติดตามตามระยะ ช่วยทำให้การใช้งาน การปรับตัวต่อฟันปลอมดีมากขึ้นด้วย

Post-insertion follow-up is also a critical part of treatment, as full-mouth rehabilitation directly affects occlusion and jaw joint function. Regular follow-up visits help patients adapt better to their dentures and ensure long-term comfort and function
