เคสนี้ คนไข้มีฟันหน้าล่างสบคร่อมฟันหน้าบน 6 ซี่ คนไข้เลือกแบ็คเก็ตชนิดโลหะรัดยางสองชั้น หรือ ระบบ AOSC เพื่อช่วยในการเรียงฟันที่เร็วมากขึ้น

แบ็คเก็ตระบบ AOSC สามารถช่วยให้คุณหมอเรียงฟันในช่วงแรกของการรักษาได้อย่างรวดเร็ว และเมื่อฟันทุกซี่ ถูกเรียงเข้าสู่ตำแหน่งที่เหมาะสมแล้ว ระบบการดึงยางแบบ Active (จะกล่าวในส่วนต่อไปของบทความ) จะช่วยปรับมุมและองศาของฟันแต่ละซี่ให้สวยงามมากขึ้น

ณ ปัจจุบันคนไข้รายนี้ ถอดเครื่องมือจัดฟัน และใส่เครื่องมือคงสภาพฟัน กลับมาติดตามทุก 1 ปี 

แบ็คเก็ตระบบ AOSC คืออะไร?

เป็นการพัฒนาแบ็คเก็ต ให้เป็นระบบการจัดฟันสองชั้น ผสานการทำงานที่เป็นแบบ Active-Passive เข้าด้วยกัน ด้วยเครื่องมือจัดฟัน แบบรัดยางสองชั้น ในระบบ Dual-Ligating System ของบริษัท Advance Orthodontic System (AOSC) โดยทันตแพทย์สามารถเลือกที่จะรัดยางแบบ Passive เพื่อเคลื่อนฟันอย่างรวดเร็ว หรือการรัดยางในแบบ Active เพื่อปรับมุมตำแหน่งของฟันให้ได้องศาที่ถูกต้องสวยงาม

ในกรณีที่ไม่มีการถอนฟัน เพื่อการจัดฟัน

โดยในช่วงแรกของการรักษา หรือในระยะการเรียงฟัน การจัดตำแหน่งของฟันให้ตรง ทันตแพทย์จะทำการรัดยางในตำแหน่งชั้นนอกของแบ็คเก็ต เรียกว่าการรัดยางแบบ Passive เพื่อเป็นการลดแรงฝืด หรือแรงที่ต้านการเคลื่อนตัวของฟัน ทำให้การเรียงฟันในตำแหน่งที่เหมาะสมทำได้รวดเร็วมากขึ้น  จากนั้นทันตแพทย์จะทำการรัดยางแบบ Active เพื่อเป็นการปรับมุมหรือองศาของฟันแต่ละซี่ให้ถูกต้อง

ในกรณีที่มีการถอนฟัน เพื่อจัดฟัน

ในช่วงของการเรียงฟัน ทันตแพทย์จะรัดยางแบบ Passive เพื่อทำการแก้ไขการเรียงฟันให้ถูกต้อง การปิดช่องฟันหน้าให้เรียบร้อย ในขั้นตอนต่อไป ทันตแพทย์จะรัดยางแบบ Active ในฟันหน้า และรัดยางแบบ Passive ในฟันหลัง แล้วทำการเคลื่อนฟันหน้าและฟันหลัง เข้ามาชิดกันเพื่อปิดช่องฟันที่ถอนออกไป ซึ่งการทำงานร่วมกันของทั้ง Passive-Active นี้ ทำให้ทันตแพทย์สามารถควบคุมตำแหน่ง องศาของฟัน และการเคลื่อนที่ของฟันได้ดีมากขึ้น

โดยแบ็คเก็ตระบบ AOSC เหมาะกับการจัดฟันในทุกรูปแบบ โดยมีข้อดีดังนี้

The patient chose metal brackets with a dual elastomeric ligation system, known as the AOSC system, to help accelerate tooth alignment.The AOSC bracket system allows for rapid alignment during the initial phase of treatment. Once the teeth are aligned into proper positions, the Active ligation phase (explained below) enables precise adjustment of tooth angulation and inclination for a more refined and aesthetic result.At present, the patient has completed orthodontic treatment, had the braces removed, and is wearing retainers. Follow-up visits are scheduled annually to maintain long-term stability.

What is the AOSC Bracket System?

The AOSC system is an advanced dual-layer ligating bracket system that combines Active and Passive mechanics using double elastomeric ligation. Developed by Advance Orthodontic System (AOSC), it allows dentists to select:

• Passive ligation for faster tooth movement with reduced friction, or
• Active ligation to precisely control tooth angulation and positioning.

Non-extraction orthodontic cases

During the early alignment phase, dentists apply Passive ligation on the outer layer of the brackets to reduce friction and allow teeth to move quickly into alignment. Once proper alignment is achieved, Active ligation is applied to fine-tune tooth angles and positions for optimal aesthetics.

Extraction orthodontic cases

In the alignment phase, Passive ligation is used to correct tooth positions and prepare spaces.
