เคสรายนี้ เดิมมีครอบฟันหน้าเหงือกร่น และผุใต้ครอบ เอ็กซ์เรย์มีรอยโรคปลายราก และซ้อนกันซี่ฟันหน้าอีกซี่ (เอ็กซ์เรย์สภาพดี กระดูกรอบรากฟันดี) วางแผน ถอนฟันหน้าที่รักษารากฟันและครอบมาออก เอาฟันตัดข้างมาแทนฟันซี่ดังกล่าว และทำครอบฟันหรือวีเนียร์หลังจากจัดฟันเสร็จ

เข้าสู่ขั้นตอนการจัดฟัน เคลื่อนฟันตัดข้างซี่หน้ามาทดแทนตำแหน่งฟันตัดกลาง ในช่วงการจัดฟัน คุณหมอปรับรูปร่างด้วยวัสดุอุดคอมพอสิต 

เมื่อจัดฟันเสร็จ ถอดเครื่องมือจัดฟัน และใส่รีเทนเนอร์ คงสภาพฟันไว้ ประมาณ 6 เดือน - 1 ปี จากนั้นจึงนัดกลับมาเปลี่ยนวัสดุอุดฟันหน้าเป็นวัสดุอื่นๆที่มีอายุการใช้งานที่ยาวนานมากกว่า เช่น งานวีเนียร์ หรือครอบฟัน

Orthodontic Case Review – The Crown Dental Clinic, KoratIn this case, the patient originally presented with a front tooth that had a crown with gum recession, recurrent decay beneath the crown, and a periapical lesion visible on X-ray. An adjacent anterior tooth was overlapped; however, its X-ray showed healthy root and surrounding bone. The treatment plan involved extracting the previously root-canal-treated crowned tooth and orthodontically moving the lateral incisor to replace the missing central incisor. Final restoration with a crown or veneer was planned after orthodontic treatment.During orthodontic treatment, the lateral incisor was carefully moved into the position of the central incisor. Composite resin was temporarily used to reshape the tooth, improving aesthetics and proportions throughout the treatment phase.After completing orthodontic treatment, the braces were removed and a retainer was placed to maintain tooth position for approximately 6 months to 1 year. Once stability was achieved, the patient was scheduled to return for replacement of the composite restorations with more durable, long-term solutions such as veneers or crowns, ensuring optimal function, aesthetics, and longevity.
